Paris Charles-de-Gaulle Airport is the largest and most important airport in France and one of the busiest in Europe, consisting of 4 terminals. Terminal 1 is the oldest and most prominent terminal at the airport, which mainly serves international flights outside the Schengen area.
After we were already able to carry out installations in this terminal in January of this year, we were now able to implement a new brand store for the MAC brand here.
Terminal 1 (the “Lagardère Duty Free Area”) was reopened at the end of 2022 after two years of modernization and expansion work in the run-up to the 2024 Olympic Games and is now the airport’s flagship around the theme “Paris est une fête” (Paris is a party).
Passengers are transported back in time to the 1920s, as the main inspiration for the design came from Ernst Hemingway’s book “A moveable Feast”/ Paris – a feast for life.
